BIOGRAPHY & HISTORY

Eddy Roberts is a resident of Sarasota, FL, originally from Houston, TX. He received his undergraduate and masters degrees at the University of Houston in 1997 and 2006 respectively. He's been a designer, both freelance and as a member of various design studios since the late 1990s. He is a full-time faculty member at the Ringling College of Art and Design in the Graphic and Interactive Communication Department. Mr. Roberts has experience with prominent cultural, architectural and institutional clients including The Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, Hermann Park Conservancy, Ziegler Cooper Architects and Rice Design Alliance. Mr. Roberts was a selected participant for the cross-disciplinary artist collaboration "American Glamour," supported by the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts. He is a writer and design contributor to independent publication D*zine. Exhibitions include shows at the Blaffer Gallery and Commerce Street Studios in Houston, TX as well as Selby Gallery in Sarasota, FL.
